Nicholas Cole

Dr Nicholas Cole is Director of the Quill Project and a Senior Research Fellow at Pembroke College, Oxford studying the political thought of the eighteenth and early nineteenth century. His particular interests are the influence of classical political thought on America's first politicians, and the search for a new 'science of politics' in post-Independence America.

Alfie Abdul Rahman

Dr Alfie Abdul-Rahman has been involved with the Quill Project for several years, in her capacity as a visualization specialist. She is currently a Lecturer in Computer Science at the Department of Informatics, King's College London. Her research interests include information visualization, human-computer interaction, user-centered design of visualization applications, and user studies and evaluation.

Lauren Davis

Lauren Davis is a senior documentary editor with Quill. She is responsible for collating new materials for the Quill platform and ensuring common standards across the whole portfolio of Quill projects. Lauren is also currently the editorial lead on the AHRC project on the Indian Constitution.

 
Ruth MurrayRuth is the Quill Project Administrator. She graduated from The Queen’s College, Oxford a long time ago and has experience in a variety of administrative roles in University of Oxford, most recently at the Changing Character of War Centre.

Ruth is a project manager and documentary editor with the Writing Peace team. She has been with Quill for five years. She graduated from The Queen’s College, Oxford a long time ago and has experience in a variety of administrative roles in University of Oxford, most recently at the Changing Character of War Centre.

 

Martin Lewis-Dalgarno

Martin Lewis-Dalgarno is a software engineer and UX designer who recently joined the Quill Team, after a year off as a stay-at-home Dad with the birth of his newborn son. Having worked in a variety of development roles and industries over the past decade, he’s excited to be bringing his expertise to build the next generation of Quill's Digital Platform.

Elizabeth Green

Elizabeth Green is a documentary editor with responsibility for the UVU projects in the Quill portfolio. Most recently, she edited the Constitution Writing in the American West collection. She is currently studying law at City, University of London, alongside editing part-time.

 

Harriet Carter

Harriet Carter is the most recent member of the Quill Team. Initially an intern, she joined as full-time staff after finishing her degree and works as a documentary editor on the Northern Ireland project. She is especially interested in textual criticism and the representation of material contexts in digital platforms

Annabel Harris

Annabel Harris is a documentary editor with Quill on the Writing Peace project. She joined Quill in October 2021 and previously worked on the Civil Rights Amendments project, particularly the Thirteenth and Fourteenth Amendments.
