Working from home as a microintern: laptop showing a Quill project model

We were happy to partner again with the Oxford University Careers Service and to host four micro-interns for a week from 7-11 December to work on one of our pilot projects looking at the writing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Micro-internships are one-week voluntary placements which provide students with the opportunity to gain insight into a research project and to add to their CV as they explore potential career options for the future. We love having micro-interns in Quill as part of the scheme. They approach our projects with fresh eyes and can provide new insights and contributions to the on-going research.

Thank you to Kirsty, Samuel, Jin, and Landen for all their hard work last week!

'It’s been a fun and exciting experience as a micro-intern at the Quill Project — figuring out how the platform works from an editor’s perspective and getting the hang of it over the next few days has certainly been challenging but I’ve enjoyed every step of the way. Modelling the UN sessions has taught me to keep an eye out for the details, sequence events more logically, and better appreciate the amount of work that goes into drafting such documents! I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work at Quill and I’m excited to see the final product!'
