Partnership

We are thrilled by our successes to date and the recognition we have received. We aim to become the definitive resource available for the study of the origins of the Constitution of the United States and, subsequently, the processes that created state constitutions. By securing additional partners and funders, we aspire to explore the wide applicability of our software and methodology to map and research a variety of multi-party negotiations and other constitutions, expanding our global impact and appeal beyond the Western world.

We welcome enquiries from researchers and institutions interested in collaborating with us or submitting joint funding proposals to model new texts in the Quill platform.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Focus on democracy and key values

  • Relationship with one of the most recognizable educational brands

  • Access to subject matter and technical expertise

  • Opportunities to bring history to life for students by engaging in archival research

  • Training in research methodology, including study abroad opportunities

  • Impact case studies through strengthened links to local archives, government agencies, law courts, and the High School curriculum

What we LOOK FOR

  • Projects which relate to a complex process of negotiation focussed around the agreement of a specific text

  • In situ teams of students with ready access to relevant archives and other local sources

  • Meaningful academic outputs in the form of articles and conferences

  • Enthusiasm for public engagement and education

  • Commitment to investing in and improving the software platform for researchers and non-specialist users

We are actively seeking partners with an interest in modelling US state constitutional conventions, the Constitution of India, and the founding documents of the UN and European Union. However, we are always interested in exploring new applications for our technology, so please get in touch if you have other projects you would like to discuss.
